story

When I was 5 years old, I went to my first camping trip. We took our tents, some dishes and some coals. We planned to go there and cook our lunch. After we found the right spot, we started to unload our stuff. However, Just when I wanted to take a break, a snake was moving around my leg. That was when I heard my sister screaming, which made me even more scared. I was completely paralyzed and couldn’t do anything to help my self. After one minute of paralyzing, I felt that I had been carried. I didn’t know who carried me, but I was happy. Apparently my father heard my sister screaming and came to save me. He throw me away and dealt with the snake. I was so exited to camping, but unfortunately it was not a good experience. After this incident, I didn’t go camping for two years. I am 22 years old now and I am still afraid of snakes.

  1. I don't blame you! I had a similar experience when I lived down in Arizona...it can be quite traumatizing.
